training – Portugal 2009
March 2009……..Fed up with the English weather, I loaded all my horses into the wagon and set off for Portugal where I spent over a month training with Antonio do Vale. I had the chance to compete RH and my youngster Tick Tock on the Portuguese Dressage Circuit under the watchful eye of Antonio. I also gained a lot of experience training Sueste for his next Working Equitation Team selection and whilst we were there made Portugal TV (see video).
It was a fantastic experience and I gained so much from training with Antonio who is now based in Germany as one of Bockmann’s top riders where he competes and trains some of Germany’s top stallions like Fidertanz.
