Preston Qualifies for BD Winter National Championships
Following our intense training with Goncalo was the BD regional Championships at Morris Equestrian Centre in Kilmarnock, Scotland. We had qualified to ride at Elementary and Medium level but I decided to drop the Elementary Level to concentrate on collection and continuing the progression within his training.
Although we were arena rusty as we hadn’t competed for 3 months, we both really found the whole competition easy and pleasurable. Goncalo suggested that I need to compete to enjoy as its the most important element and this is exactly what we did!
We came 2nd in the Medium Open which reserved our golden ticket to the winter national! I am thrilled to have achieved this with Preston and I am looking so much more to what is still to come…….ENJOYMENT!
