RH Win's at Royal Windsor 2011
RH and Tori take this year ribbons at Royal Windsor in the Ridden English Lusitano Class. This year judged by a Portugese Judge and breeder, saw RH and Tori produce a faultless show to prove RH's presence, training, movement and temperament is one of the best examples of his breed in the UK

Tori and RH qualified for the Regional Championships in just 2 competitions, entered 2 comps, won both!!!!
At the regional Championships, Somerford Park, RH and Tori came a respectable 8th place!

Tori competed at Royal Windsor (MAY 2010) where she was placed in both classes entered.
RH gained 4th & Sueste gained 5th in the Parade Class.

A Once in a life time experience!!!!!!
Tori was invited to ride both her horses at the European Dressage and Show Jumping Championships 2009 held at Windsor. Pictured below in the ring riding RH

Tori Spent the whole of March 2009 in Portugal training with her 4 horses and Antonio Vale. Whilst she was there Tori competed in a National Dressag competition with her 4 year old and RH, her main dressage ride.

Tori and Sueste represented Great Britain in the Working Equitation Team to finish second in the British Team and 16th individual. Tori was a team member of 4 who travelled to Sardinia to take part in the European championships.

Next week I leave England and head for Sardinia to represent GB as part of the Working Equitation Team. The is a ridden sport that has derived from working the cattle on horseback on the Continent. It consists of 4 disciplines all of which have to be ridden single handed, which obviously makes it very difficult. The first discipline is dressage and involves high school movements such as flying changes, Canter Pirouettes, etc. The second is an obstacle course involving difficult and precision riding. The slalom poles to be ridden at canter with a flying changes at every slalom, then to be ridden with the horse going backwards is just one of the requirements together with jumping riding over small bridges, opening gates, all whilst carrying a 10ft pole. The pole is to be carried to work the cattle from your horse and increases the difficulty in the competition. The first obstacle course is marked similar to a dressage competition so accuracy and grace are important. The other 2 disciplines are riding the obstacle course at speed and finally Cattle herding which involves cutting a cow out of a herd and penning it within 3 minutes. The European championships in Sardinia have teams from GB, France, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Holland. The Portuguese are the current European & World Champions with GB achieving 4th place last year. The Senior team members are Holly Barber, Alex Downing, Marcia Wakeman, Tori Peter and Sarah Way. I am the only rider from the North West of England ever to be selected. The Junior team riders are Holly Barber, Natasha Reid and Charlotte Lee.

Tori and RH win both the Medium Dressage and the Medium Freestyle at the 2007 Iberian Performance Show held at Hartpury International Arena

RH and Tori competed this year in the Advanced Dressage to music in costume, where they won the class. This was at The Lusitano Breed Show 2007.

RH Wins the overall Dressage Award at The Anual Lusitano Breed Show 2006. Rh had only been in the country for 2 weeks and in this time a hurried dressage to music program was produced with the proffessional help of Ken Barnsley. Tori and RH scored 73% taking the top spot.
